About this puja
There are total 27 Nakshatras out of which some are ‘Panchak’ badhit nakshatra. If a person passed away in any of such nakshatra i.e Dhanishtha, Shat Taraka, Purva Bhadrapada, Uttara Bhadrapada and revati it is considered inauspicious. To avoid the death of the other two people in the upcoming 2 years it is important to perform Panchak Shant.
Panchak shanti is conducted to avoid effects of all the negative energies and impacts to the family.
