Antyavidhi Mantragni

About this puja

In the Hindu religion, Mantraagni is considered as the last sanskar. It is also called as Amtim Sanskar. Antim sanskar is mostly conducted on the same day when the person is passed away. It is important for all the other people to take a bath after going home. As per the Hindu religion, the dead body and the smoke during Antim sanskar both are considered impure. The ashes left after antim sanskar is to be dropped in any nearby river or any other moving water body.

In human life, antim sanskar is considered very important and it is considered a way to liberate the person who passed away and his family.
